I am starting another Mambo site - mainly to seperate JTN Designs (the business) from MamboOS templates, modules, components, etc.

So...

USAMambo is a new site devoted to the developement of Mambo Open Source templates, modules, components, etc.
The Official Launch Date of USAMambo.com is Feb 1st, 2004. The Site is being maintained by Josh Mandeville(me) from JTN Designs.

jeesh - I never said I was very good at the design aspect of this.

I just got photoshop for the 1st time... I have always been a programmer (formerly ASP fanatic here) so I will now retire any more attempts at templates...

I did it mainly to learn the aspects of PHP and the Presentation - now (besides colors it seems) I can relax and just do what I know how to do - backend coding... components/modules/mambots -

I'm still laughing...you guys are TOO funny! Josh, I, too, thought the colors and layout were a bit bold, but was too overwhelmed by the superb quality of the rest of your work! Please keep it coming!....and...thank you.

Download Times*
Connection Rate Download Time
14.4K 50.88 seconds
28.8K 26.34 seconds
33.6K 22.83 seconds
56K 14.42 seconds
ISDN 128K 5.66 seconds
T1 1.44Mbps 2.14 seconds

*Note that these download times are based on the full connection rate for ISDN and T1 connections. Modem connections (56Kbps or less) are corrected by a packet loss factor of 0.7. All download times include delays due to round-trip latency with an average of 0.2 seconds per object. With 9 total objects for this page, that computes to a total lag time due to latency of 1.8 seconds. Note also that this download time calculation does not take into account delays due to XHTML parsing and rendering
