Default MOS Patch 1.0.8 and SafeMode Patch 134

Does the MOS Patch 1.0.8 work with SafeMode Patch 134?

In which sequence do I have to install them? First MOS Patch and then the SafeMode patch or vice versa?

Thanks

Roman

Can´t believe I´m the only one with this problem?

For example, in ../administrator/*_installer.php have different versions:

mambo 4.5 (Patch 1.0.9) safeMode Patch
component_installer.php 1.31 1.22
language_installer.php 1.5 1.4

and so on.

How do you handel the issue. I tired to merge the files, but the SafeMode relevant parts are not documented/marked in the files.

Thanks

Roman :-?

Good Question!

Does safeMode Patch work with 07 patched to 08 patched to 09? Did I miss something? Does 9 have the safe mode?

Here is what Dave, the Patch Developer told me:

sorry, but i have not looked at the new 109 release myself to tell you. the mos team is making a lot of changes to the installer code, so i don't know what they have included in this new 'patch' so far. i'll probably have a look in a few days and let you know. otherwise, check back regularly at mosforge for safemode patch updates there.

Dear Dave,

I want to use SafeMode Patch but IB4m not sure of installing it. I use MOS 4.5 Patch 1.0.9. So the *_installer.php files in my originally installed administrator directory have newer version numbers than the one you use in the patch. Is there a version for my release? or can you send me the relevant parts to put them in the files myself?

Thanks for help

Kind regards

Roman Becker

I hope he will make a new version of the patch...

Default Tried the SM patch, then the Mambo patches

Hey there,

I was having similar component installation problems on 1.0.7 so I installed the safe mode patch, THEN the 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 and tried installing a component using the safe mode FTP Assist and the component installed just fine.

Good Luck,
Scott

Angry Version 4.5(1.0.9) and SAFE=ON

So, what must I do, if I've just done a "clean" installation of Mambo 4.5(1.0.9) and my server is in SAFE mode ON?

I mean, does anybody know if there is a "SAFE-ON-patch" which works ok over a new installation of version 4.5(1.0.9)?

Do you think this kind of things is normal to happen???

Thanks.

Smile NOW, it seems to work well with version 4.5(1.0.9)

After some tries, NOW the patch works...

Some (maybe) important information:

The destiny of the files in the patch is as follows:

component_installer.php
ftp-client-class.php
language_installer.php
module_installer.php
template_installer.php
--> To administrator directory

HTML_installer.php
--> To administrator/classes/html directory

installer_common.php
--> To administrator/includes directory

pcltar.lib.installer.php
pclzip.lib.installer.php
--> To administrator/classes directory

del_ftp_accnt_table.php
--> To root directory, and only use when necessary (see http://forum.mamboserver.com/showpos...33&postcount=1 )

This worked for me —or, at least, it seems to be working...
