Sports Team Roster

Hey all,

I've recently set up Mambo for my college's ultimate team, and it's working out quite well, but the one feature I'm not sure about how to go about doing is a team roster.

I've searched around and seen a lot of clan stuff, and some examples of hand-done things, but nothing really fits the bill as to what I'm looking for.

We have tested creating an "item" for a player, but since I can't organize within categories I can't really do what I'd like to...

The ideal situation is having a list of players sorted by year (grad+, senior, junior, sophomore, freshman), maybe a thumbnail of the player, and then with a link to a player profile. Ideally this isn't linked to Mambo users at all, and I don't have to create the individual pages, but can find a component or a module that will let me "add a player" or something, and I can fill in a form, bam - profile page is generated and added to the roster.

Is there any chance something like this is out there that I'm not finding, or is this just sort of a pipe dream? Any input's appreciated.
