Safemode is off, mambo thinks it is on? - Mambo

I am having a little trouble with mambo, it thinks that my safemode is On when I checked my php.ini and it is in fact OFF.

I found out that supposedly my local php config file has safemode ON.....

How do I fix this? as I need to install the SMF bridge and it won't let me because of this....

I got it figured out, the control panel that I have has a little option (that I did not notice) that I can turn it on and off for each domain/subdomain... I had failed to turn it off, so it was over-riding my php.ini settings.
