Open Letter to Mambo Users
In August 2005 the Mambo Foundation was established to enable control of the Mambo CMS project to go into the hands of the Mambo community. The official site at http://mambo-foundation.org was launched and mambolove.com was also launched, with its "spread Mambo" message. Within a few months, The Source (now http://mambo-developer.org) was set up and by June 2006 the forums for the Mambo project were established at http://forum.mambo-foundation.org/

Since then, the Mambo team, developers, and members of the Foundation have been too busy developing Mambo to be here, on these forums. 3-4 of us have been dropping in once in awhile to do what we can to make sure nobody is left without help. Most of the time, posts require more than just a single response so we have been encouraging everyone to post on the Mambo forums if they cannot get the help they need here. Put simply, we cannot be monitoring two forums and cannot keep supporting people in two places at once.

The mamboserver forums are a great archive of information and searching here can be useful. For that reason alone, it is good that these forums remain accessible.

However, the confusion caused with users mistaking these forums for the Mambo forums is hurting Mambo.

If you have questions relating to the Mambo CMS, the Mambo project, or Mambo teams, please post them on the MAMBO forums, at http://forum.mambo-foundation.org

If you wish to support Mambo, please do so on the official Mambo sites. Donations made through the mamboserver site do not come to Mambo.

If you wish to contact anyone from the Mambo open source CMS project, please do so through the official forums and sites.
