Is it same "main menu" and "mainmenu" menu? What's the the "main menu" means here? second, I still got the problem on search component, it doesn't return the result page, but the frontpage. (see my previous question above) Thanks, |

Thansk for teh update. Awesome work as usual.
One thing.... I hear that Drupal has SEF built in as standard? Will this ever happen with Mambo? Dont get me wrong i use and love your SEF solution... its great!... but if Drupal can provide it "as standard"... why can't you? Cheers. |

I've been working on a redesign of my site on a development server. The new site has many structural changes (in addition to dates created of pages) that are causing entirely new URLs. From my research, setting up 301 redirects is the way to go. I've created a laundry list of URLs (old vs new) and will set them up once I move my site from the dev site to the main site. In terms of SEF advance, is there anything that I need to be aware of when moving the site? I plan on moving the mySQL db and copying my Mambo files over to the new server. Does the .htaccess move also?
Any suggestions would be helpful. Trying to minimize my grey hair with this move. TIA Chris |

saka, didnt you say there was a glitch that caused some pages to be registered only? if so, was it just my installation or is there an update/patch?

oops, sorry i forgot to mention, SEF advance has done wonders with my site, most of the url`s are extremely short, and to the point now - compared to what they used to be like.
take a look here: www.media-hunter.com and check out some of the links (i have one or two to sort out manually but most work very well) here is one example, where i had this URL: http://www.media-hunter.com/index.ph...6&Item id=425 i now have this: http://www.media-hunter.com/IGnobel/ kicks ar*e steve0 |

There should be no problems. If .htaccess doesn't move (it can be hidden) just move it manually. You should also make sure you have a valid license for the production site (you can see this in the file sef.php) so you don't get an piracy error when you move. |
