I install Mambo v4.5.2 on my own computer (WinXP + Apache2 + MySQL 4.1 + PHP4.3.11)

At begining, I couldn't install Mambo,
I have been done every share methods which have ever shown by this forum.

(such us: download MySQL Administrator,
click its [Startup Variables] => [Security] Label, to set MySQL 4.1 in old passwords, and disable grant tables, OR fill the install username like "root@localhost", OR set attribution to share the dir, OR leave root password in blank)

,but..., still nothing happen, I still couldn't install Mambo, I almost want to give up to install it.

At once , at my last try,:rock: miraculous glow suddently shown in my brain,
I fill-in "locolhost:9999" in the server name's blank form(9999 is my MySql 4.1's port number), I suddently success! WOW! I success to install Mabo now.

In this method, I don't need to set my root password blank, I don't need to set MySQL port as default port 3306, I don't need to set my user name in freak way "root@localhost", it's wonderful !! :D {But this method should be done after you set the security variables (set in old passwords, and disable grant tables) by using MySQL Administrator, that is still necessary}

I share this experience here, hope to help others who still couldn't install Mambo, and the person who want to install Mambo in your individual port number. ;)
