I have my site installed under
http://my.domain/site/

When I try to link from one article to the other, I paste the URL in the popup URL box in the WYSWYG editor. It converts the URL to relative form trying to guess the path back to root. It does this wrong and I get URLs as such:

original:
http://my.domain/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=292&Itemid=124
http://my.domain/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=292&Itemid=124

Obviously, it goes one folder too deep while converting. This happns with SEF urls turned on and without. Any insite?

thanks

I have the same problem, well my problem is when I insert images... but the error is the same. I also have Mambo in a SUB folder.

If some one has a solution for this, please let me know. Thanks! :thrasher:

I think this may be because when you are editing with the editor the file is being referenced from that location, and when viewed it is a different location, just an idea

I have manualy inserted the real URL for the image... no luck there, the editor still changes it back. I definitly think this is a bug. The absolute path and live site fields in the configuration.php file are correct and poining to my subfolder, but the editor still persists that Mambo is installed in the root of my domain. I am sure if mambo was installed in the root, this problem whould vannish. Not an option in my case.

Yeah there is a problem because I have it installed in a folder as well and the editor escape from an extra directory or not enough, if you play around a little bit though you can get it where you want it to go.

For my site
../mambosite/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,31/
is what I used to get to
http://r-b-d.com/mambosite/component/option,com_wrapper/Itemid,31/
