Fresh reinstall of Mambo with a new database:
Delete the configuration.php file in your remote server.
Upload an Installation folder via FTP .
Run the installation again.
In Step 1 of the Installation, select the Drop Existing Tables checkbox.
Continue with the installation as normal.
Finished.
Reinstalling your old Mambo with your old database:
Delete the configuration.php file in your remote server.
Upload an Installation folder via FTP.
Run the installation again.
In Step 1 of the Installation, select the Drop Existing Tables checkbox.
Continue with the installation as normal.
When done with the installation you'll have to import/restore the old database so GO HERE (http://forum.mamboserver.com/showthread.php?t=80305) and follow the instructions on - How to restore/import a database.
Finished.
